mdlogix president, Dr. Allen Tien, presents to Johns Hopkins University Division of Health Sciences Informatics

Dr. Allen Tien, President and Chief Science Officer at mdlogix, presented to the Johns Hopkins University Division of Health Sciences Informatics, Grand Rounds on April 3, 2020. The presentation, entitled, “Integrating Science and Practice: Strengthening Our Behavioral Health Ecosystem,” addressed the following topics:

1. What is the Behavioral Health Ecosystem?

2. What is the role of informatics in this ecosystem?

3. Leveraging technology to integrate science and practice

4. Collaborations for innovation

Dr. Tien is the author of 50 publications in the fields of clinical psychiatry, public health research, and health sciences informatics. He has been the principal investigator on multiple grants and contracts from the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Defense. He earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and a Master of Health Science from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Tien previously served as Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and is currently serving as Clinical Associate Professor of Behavioral Medicine & Psychiatry at the West Virginia University School of Medicine.
