Federal News Radio interviews Dr. Perri Rosen about use of BH-Works in PA schools

We are always thrilled to promote the great work we’re doing with our colleagues at the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. Since 2013, the department has been helping schools use our BH-Works platform to screen students for behavioral health problems. The program’s director, Dr. Perri Rosen, was recently interviewed by John Flynn, former Chief Information Officer for California and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Flynn is host of Federal News Radio’s Ask the CIO: SLED Edition.

During the interview, Dr. Rosen discusses how BH-Works is used in schools to screen entire student populations, as well as individual students supported through the state’s Student Assistance Program (SAP). She also talks about common barriers to implementation, staff and student reactions, and the unexpected ways the counties have been able to leverage aggregate data to secure funding.
