We begin our client relationships by placing mdlogix staff at the client sites to develop a clear understanding of the client's needs and goals. We help them set priorities and develop user “stories” describing what their system needs to do. We then communicate this information to the entire mdlogix solution engineering team.
During weekly meetings, we spend time with our clients gathering feedback and encouraging open dialogue. We provide them with one piece of their solution at a time, integrating each component incrementally to avoid a steep learning curve and to solve issues as they appear. This iterative process provides the client with quick results and ensures a smoother transition to full use of their new system.
Our culture of innovation coupled with the dynamic growth of mdlogix, has helped us attract and retain some of the smartest minds in the industry. Our clients benefit from our deep understanding of the characteristics of clinical research and practice. We assign project management, solution engineering, and business analysis resources to each client, and supplement this team as required with appropriate levels of skill and staffing, both locally and through support from our Baltimore headquarters, throughout the life of a project and as our clients’ needs evolve.
The mdlogix platform was created using Ruby on Rails and XSB, and directly supports SQL Server, Firebird, Oracle, MySQL and other databases, as well as XML. Our clients do not need in-house Ruby expertise in order to add modules to our work. In a Java environment, the CRMS can be deployed using JRuby on Rails.
mdlogix provides full range of professional services to assist our clients with installation, configuration, customization, training and support for the CRMS and other products. In addition, we offer software customization, instrument database creation, data import/export, and data analysis services. Contact us to learn more about how we can meet your organization’s needs.
