Marjorie Tharp

Vice President of Marketing and Communications

With nearly two decades of experience in health care communications, Ms. Tharp oversees market development efforts and company promotion. Prior to joining mdlogix, she directed the public affairs programs of the American Academy of Pediatrics in Washington, DC. There, she developed and executed communications strategies for issues including pediatric research, health care coverage, and drug studies. She garnered media coverage in national outlets including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, 60 Minutes, and National Public Radio. Additionally, she lobbied the federal government on the media and its impact on child health. Ms. Tharp holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a Business minor from the University of Maryland.
